Craig Kielburger Secondary School
The Halton District School Board has changed the start and end times of 18 of their schools.
In Milton only three schools will be affected by the changes.
EW Foster will start at 8:45 a.m. and will end at 3:05 p.m.
JM Denyes will start at 8:50 a.m. and 3:10 p.m.
Craig Kielburger Secondary School is the only high school that will see a time change.
School will run from 8:00 a.m. to 2:34 p.m., in response to safety concerns with the nearby French Catholic Elementary School.
Schools will now have two 40-minute nutritional breaks instead of one 50 minute and one 40 minute break.
The board also made this decision to accommodate road efficiencies and safety concerns.
Of course, all changes will take effect when school resumes in September, if not later.
