
George Floyd was killed in the City of Minneapolis after a police officer refused to remove his knee from Floyd’s neck.
He was being arrested after being accused of using a counterfeit $20 bill at a grocery store.
Following the death of Floyd, protests have taken place across the United States and Canada.
Halton Police have released a statement on Floyd’s death, saying the news of Floyd’s death, “rocked them to the core”, and calling it criminal.
