
Milton’s Town Council are meeting via Zoom at 1 pm today.
During that meeting, council will receive a public information report regarding Jean Vanier Secondary School’s request to amend a zoning bylaw to allow them more space to have a total of 60 portables on property until 2023.
Council are also set to approve a motion by Town Councillor for Ward 1, Kristina Tesser Derksen and seconded by Regional Councillor for Ward 1, Colin Best to obtain a second legal opinion on implementing an interim control bylaw that would protect the quality of air and water for community residents.
This is an important motion in Action Milton’s mission to stop the Campbellville Quarry.

Council are set to pass a motion approving purchases for work throughout Town.
Council will also vote on the next step towards the Mayor and Town Clerk creating a funding agreement to allow for the completion of background studies to support the development of a secondary plan for Britannia.
