On Monday May 18th, two people were sent to hospital with serious injuries after a collision with a transport truck on Highway 401.
Just after 2:10 p.m., the driver of a Toyota SUV lost control of their vehicle near Trafalgar Road and hit the concrete median.
They re-entered traffic and were hit by an eastbound transport truck.
The two occupants in the SUV were taken to hospital.
The OPP closed all eastbound lanes and one westbound lane between James Snow Parkway and Trafalgar Road to investigate. The lanes were reopened at 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
The OPP are still looking into why the driver lost control of their vehicle.
