
Halton Police are asking for the public’s help in a Halton Hills arson investigation.
On Monday, May 11th, shortly after 10:15 p.m., three parked cars were reported to be on fire outside of GT Auto in Norval.
Police are urging anyone who was in the area of Guelph Street and Louisa Street at the time of the incident, as well as anyone who may have dash cam footage from the area to contact the HRPS.
Surveillance video obtained by investigators shows a suspect pouring what police believe to be gas on the vehicles and lighting them on fire.
The suspect also appears to light one of his feet on fire and is last seen running west across the front of the business towards Louisa Street.
The suspect is male and was wearing a black hoodie with the hood up and black sweatpants.
There is a vehicle of interest in the occurrence. It is described as a gold or silver four door sedan. Possibly a Honda Prelude or Accord.
At this time police will not be releasing the surveillance video.
