
The Mattamy National Cycle Centre was one of six activities offered in Milton's travel guide
Milton resident and Manager of the Mattamy National Cycling Centre, Kelyn Akuna, reportedly died suddenly on May 9th.
Canadian Cycling Magazine says Akuna was heavily involved with the cycling community, both as an athlete and as a track manager for the Milton velodrome.
A cause of death has not been reported.
His family has set up a Go Fund Me page.
On the page, Kelyn is referred to as a, “loving father, caring husband and a true friend. He was someone that was quick to help anyone that asked, and did it with a smile. He was dedicated to building community and often volunteered his time in this pursuit. He was a fierce competitor and brought that same level of intensity to all things that he did.”
