The Milton Legion is holding a charity bottle drive this weekend.
Communications and PR Professional for the Legion, Sameera Ali, says the money raised will go towards helping build a hospice in Milton.
HerQuest for Hospice is helping raise funds for the Townsend Smith Foundation.
Ali explains that there are two methods to donate: drop-off or contactless pick-up.
The Legion will be taking the necessary precautions to ensure the public’s safety during this bottle drive.
It’s not just a bottle drive, cans are accepted as well.
Ali thanks everyone who has reached out to help raise funds for the Legion during the COVID-19 outbreak.
The Milton Legion’s bottle drive is this weekend at the Legion parking lot at 21 Charles St in Milton.
Drop offs will run from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with contactless pick-up available by calling 905-878-9005. The Legion asks that you leave your name, number, address, and a date for pick-up.
