Milton Town Council approved of a number of purchasing contracts during their meeting on Monday.
Those include increases to contracts for Diamond Tree Care and Consulting Inc to continue projects throughout Town, funding for asphalt overlay on provisional roads and funding for compressors and a containment system for the fire department.
Council approved a tender award for the 2020 asphalt overlay program to Four Site Development Ltd, to $6,673, 709 and approval for work on provisional roads to the amount of $164,519.
A contract increase to Diamond Tree Care and Consulting Inc for tree pruning services along Bronte Street to the amount of $96,400, $25,400 for work along Thomson Road South, and for clearing trees as part of the CN pedestrian tunnel project to the amount of $13,725. .
A single source award to Jordair Compressors Inc. for compressors and a containment system for the fire department to the amount of $55,000.
