Town Councillor for Ward 3, Rick Di Lorenzo, called into myFM to provide an update during the COVID-19 outbreak.
He held a Zoom meeting recently with residents to check in on local issues.
Di Lorenzo says a big thing people brought up was education.
Small business owners are very worried.
Councillor Di Lorenzo adds that dealing with the lack of social interactions has been tough on a lot of people.
He commends a local Facebook group for their work in helping with picking up groceries for residents.
Councillor Di Lorenzo will continue to host weekly Zoom meetings that are set-up through his Facebook page.
He says they will be open, agenda-free meetings designed to listen to everyone who joins.
