Milton Transit ridership numbers have fallen significantly thanks to COVID-19, and travel has been limited as people do what they can to continue social distancing.
During the most recent Town Council Meeting, Regional Councillor for Ward 4 Zeeshan Hamid asked staff to look at other options.
That represents a 10-15% drop according to staff, which falls in line with other municipalities in the Region.
Councillor Hamid says that they are now looking into a different program.
He even has a couple of ideas in mind.
Finally, Councillor Hamid has asked staff to come back with a solution.
In the meantime, Milton Transit is offering door-to-door service for seniors to support their shopping needs.
