It’s been over a month since restrictions were put into place to deal with COVID-19.
Since then, there have been people donating personal protective equipment, and organizations in Town have stepped up to help those in the community.
Locally, in Ward 1 there still are some challenges that residents are facing.
Town Councillor Kristina Tesser Derksen outlines some of the things she’s heard from residents in Ward 1.
She also went into further detail about some of the internet challenges rural residents are facing.
Additionally, Councillor Tesser Derksen says that residents have been good with the restrictions in place.
There have been some concerns from residents about others but she says that most are following the rules.
