One of the ways that the Town of Milton will be collecting information is through a survey.
If local companies have business-related COVID-19 questions, concerns or priorities they need help with, they can take that survey.
You can find a link to the survey on Letstalkmilton.ca.
They are currently accepting electronic submissions of development applications for Zoning By-law Amendments, Official Plan Amendments, Draft Plans of Subdivision and Condominium, Minor Variances, Consent, Site Plan Approval and Exemption from Part Lot Control.
Prior to submission, email planning@milton.ca to make arrangements with the Town’s Planning Administrator to ensure that you are able to make a complete submission.
Town staff are carrying out regularly scheduled pre-consultation meetings via teleconference or videoconference. To schedule a meeting, contact planning@milton.ca.
At this time, the Town is unable to move forward with statutory public meetings or Committee of Adjustment & Consent meetings. Town staff will continue to accept, process and review minor variance applications, but building permits will not be issued until a final decision is rendered by the Committee.
When it comes to future development, Launslager says that it will continue.
