The topic of waste management in the Halton Region has come up, and while some people are getting their spring cleaning done it’s important to know what will be picked up.
Regional Councillor for Ward 3, Mike Cluett, says that certain items won’t be collected.
He adds that while things can change, it’s best to stay up to date.
Curbside Blue Box, Green Cart, and garbage will continue. View your weekly schedule.
- Bulk waste collection is suspended until further notice.
- Please bag and tie all garbage and organic material. Loose items will not be collected.
- Yard waste collection planning to start as scheduled.
- Metal and appliances are collected by appointment only. Use our online form to schedule your collection.
- The Halton Waste Management Site remains open for regular business hours. More information about drop-off services.
- If necessary, please pick-up a Blue Box or Green Cart at the Halton Waste Management Site.
- Special Waste Drop-off Days are postponed until further notice.
