SAVIS of Halton is making sure those affected by domestic violence and sexual assault are getting the support they need during this crisis.
Every Wednesday from April 8th until May 27th, SAVIS will be holding an eight-week support group through secure video conferencing.
The support group called Supporting Your Loved One will go from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m..
Topics include: sexual assault, trauma 101, mental health and substance dependency, self-care and boundaries, communication, difficult emotions and healing.
