Some local residents are not grasping the idea of social distancing.
Town Councillor for Ward 4, Sameera Ali, shared photos online that had shown people trespassing in large groups on Conservation Halton property.
Conservation Halton had shut down all conservation areas to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
Councillor Ali explains that the pictures that were given to her by a resident in her Ward.
Councillor Ali adds that Conservation Halton’s signs were clearly visible to the people.
She says they chose to ignore the signs and were fined because of it.
Councillor Ali begs you to stay home during this outbreak.
