The Milton Legion is working on their next step during the COVID-19 outbreak.
As the novel coronavirus made its way into Canada, businesses and organizations had to close their doors.
Communications and PR Professional for the Legion, Sameera Ali, talks about the impact of COVID-19.
Ali adds that the Legion has brought in a cleaning crew to sanitize their building.
She says they want to make sure that it is safe for the veterans to return when the doors open.
Ali says they’re keeping in touch with those members.
Finally, she says it’s important to educate the veterans on the seriousness of COVID-19.
The Legion is a non-profit that relies on local events to raise money.
