Thursday, April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day.
myFM listener Melissa LaChaine and her 5-year old son Edmond sent us this text:
As Thursday is world autism day my son, Edmond, who loves rainbows (he’s 5) is asking everyone to post rainbows in their windows or draw them in their driveways to show their support and show awareness while they wear blue from home. Although it’s not the usual symbol of awareness we sure do need some reminder that after the storm there is a rainbow!
The Morning Show’s Jamie managed to get ahold of Melissa and Edmond.
Normally people wear blue in support of the day, which is still encouraged.
