
An arrest has been made in connection to two Georgetown restaurant robberies.
Halton Police have arrested and charged an unnamed 19-year old Georgetown man.
He was handed a list of charges:
- Robbery (x2)
- Disguise with Intent (x2)
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose (x2)
- Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence
The two robberies took place on December 27th at a Tim Hortons location, and January 9th at a Dominos Pizza location.
In both robberies, a black handgun was observed.
A second suspect was found to be connected to the Dominos Pizza robbery.
Charged is a 15-year old male from Georgetown with two offences:
- Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence
- Public Mischief
The young person was released on an undertaking. Under the Youth Criminal Justice Act the identity of the young person cannot be revealed. The identity of the 19 year old will not be released by police to protect the identity of the 15 year old.
