
A Milton man is facing charges following a break and enter case in Kilbride.
On Tuesday, March 3rd, at around noon, 28-year old Michael Miller allegedly broke into a home and stole items from inside.
He was seen leaving the residence in a vehicle.
Halton Police were able to track down the vehicle thanks to a provided description.
The suspect intentionally collided with a marked police cruiser, causing a head-on collision in the area of Derry Road and Appleby Line.
As a result of the collision, the Miller’s vehicle went off the roadway and into a ditch.
The vehicle became inoperable and the suspect was arrested.
No injury was sustained to the officer.
Miller was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and now faces a list of charges including;
- Break and Enter
- Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
- Fail to Remain at the Scene of an Accident
- Fail to Comply with Probation (two counts)
He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
