Hawkins Animal Hospital in Milton is warning of an aggressive, injured skunk in the area of Moorelands Crescent (off Laurier Avenue).
At roughly 8:00 a.m. this morning, the skunk attacked a dog and fled after the ensuing fight. Hawkins say the skunk’s behaviour is unnatural. The dog has had its rabies vaccination, so it is reportedly okay.
There is a park and a trail within the area of the incident.
They want residents (especially children) to avoid the skunk and to call animal services if you see it.
