CFUW is holding the fourth annual International Women’s Day “March on Main”.
Treasurer for CFUW Milton and District, Elaine Reid, says that they’re holding the March earlier this year because International Women’s Day is on a Sunday.
Reid adds that the March has grown mightily over the years.
Reid says any and all are welcome to join.
Last year’s number came in at over 200 people.
CFUW will also be collecting feminine hygiene products for the Salvation Army.
Reid says that those are often ignored as a necessity.
The March on Main event is on Friday, March 6th, starting at 10:00 a.m..
It will begin at Milton’s Town Hall and end at the Lowe’s parking lot.
All are welcome to attend.
