Winter highway driving (from the FM 101 Milton files)
We are expecting a large amount of heavy snow today.
myFM was able to speak with Environment Canada Warning Preparedness Meteorologist, Peter Kimbell.
He tells us what to expect over the next 24-hours.
Kimbell adds that this afternoon is expected to be the worst of the storm.
However, after this weekend, the weather should rebound back to mild temperatures.
During today’s storm, motorists should be prepared for poor winter driving conditions due to low visibilities in heavy, quickly accumulating snow.
