The Oakville & Milton Humane Society have launched a new program.
It’s called ‘Pawsitive Partners’.
It’s expected to make fundraising for the animal shelter easier and more fun than ever before.
Community Initiative Specialist at the Humane Society, Angel D’Andrea, explains.
D’Andrea adds that one of the new tools includes a birthday celebration kit for kids wanting to fundraise for their birthday party.
In it, kids will get a t-shirt, balloons, loot bags, and more.
The Humane Society will even help with setting up the donation page for the birthday party.
D’Andrea, talks about the importance of public donations.
Rick Perciante, Executive Director, OMHS, expands on that point.
“OMHS relies 100% on donations from the public and corporate partners to provide animal care and support within the shelter. No matter how large or small your planned event, by choosing to fundraise for OMHS you are helping to ensure every animal who has been abandoned, abused, injured, neglected or surrendered, will continue to receive the top-notch care they deserve,” says Perciante.
Finally, Angel D’Andrea, describes what that money goes toward.
