
Halton Police are searching for two suspects following a bank robbery in Milton.
The robbery happened at roughly 7:50 p.m. on Thursday.
It was at the TD Bank on Derry Road in Milton, near the intersection of Derry and Scott Boulevard.
Two masked suspects entered the bank and demanded cash from staff at gunpoint.
The suspects are believed to have left the scene in a dark coloured SUV.
Witness accounts suggest the SUV initially fled westbound on Derry Road before turning around and leaving the area eastbound on Derry.
Halton Police describe the first suspect as a white man in his 20’s, roughly 5’8″ tall, with a slim build.
The second suspect is described as a man in his 20’s.
No physical injuries were sustained during the robbery.
This is the eighth bank robbery since December 13th.
Residents are being asked to be vigilant when attending banks, and report any suspicious activity to police.
