All four teachers unions and the Province of Ontario are continuing to negotiate a new contract into Friday, with the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario (ETFO) set to walk out in Halton next week if a meaningful progress isn’t made.
The ETFO is planning on job action in Halton on Monday, as well as a Province wide walk out on Thursday.
The Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association has also announced that it will hold a one-day, provincewide strike on Tuesday.
After exams were finished the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation is also planning on holding a one day strike on Tuesday as well.
Follow along next week for updates as negotiations between the Province and the teachers unions continue.
