Dorothy Heagle is the recipient of the Sovereign Medal for volunteering in the Milton District Hospital’s Fracture Clinic.
It is a prestigious national award that honours the remarkable volunteer achievements of Canadians.

Heagle was nominated by her son, with the help of a letter of recognition from Dr. Markus Bischoff, who says she’s a fantastic person.
