A local musician has an impressive feat under his belt.
Rick Imus had 12 national anthem performances in one weekend for the Australian Baseball League.
The league was holding a four-game series earlier this month for a Korean team based in Australia, playing at Auckland.
The PorchFest Milton founder says it was a challenge playing three anthems a game.
Imus says he had to play the Australian, New Zealand, and Korean anthems before every game; adding the biggest hurdle early on was convincing the New Zealand team he was willing to travel from Toronto just for the series.
He explains how he got the job.
The games were played at the North Harbour Stadium in Auckland.
