ACTION Milton held a public information meeting last night at the Milton Sports Centre.
The Banquet Room was filled as people looked for an update on the fight against the Campbellville Quarry.
Currently, the committee is waiting for an environmental assessment by the government.
Chair of ACTION Milton, George Minakakis, says he’d like to see all of the issues brought up during the assessment.
MPP Parm Gill was in attendance and spoke at the beginning of the meeting.
He says that if residents trust the process, he feels there’s a good case against the quarry through an environmental assessment.
Regional Councillor for Ward 1, Colin Best, says the Town of Milton will be doing what it can.
ACTION Milton are planning lots of future events.
