
For the first time in over 20 years, the Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association walked out in Protest.
On Tuesday, teachers in Milton were out in full force on Main Street.
One teacher, Brie Grande, says that they haven’t heard much from parents; although, there is some noticeable support.
Carolina, who’s daughter is in kindergarten, joined in support.
Grande says that students have become aware of what’s going on.
The job action marks the first time the union’s 45,000 members walked off the job in more than 20 years.
