Habitat for Humanity Halton-Mississauga are excited for what 2020 brings.
After relocating their Milton ReStore location last year, the organization is hoping to build off of that progress.
Director of Communications, Julie Svensson Watt, says Halton could be getting a new facility.
Svensson Watt adds that Milton Transitional Housing are in the works to be a partner with this new project.
She says they’re hoping to build it within Halton but finding land will be a challenge.
Svensson Watt says they’re still looking for donations, especially your old kitchens.
Svensson Watt adds that she wants to thank the Milton community.
She says without the help of volunteers and donors, they couldn’t what they do.
The goal with their new project would be to hold five community service agencies with the right housing they need to help residents.
