Nominations are now open for the 14th annual Kraft Hockeyville.
The long-standing competition has awarded 81 communities $3.5 million for various arena upgrades and repairs.
Senior Brand Manager Matt Bruce says the love of hockey the nation shares with each other is what makes Kraft Hockeyville a continued success.
Bruce says it’s easy to nominate your arena and they’re looking for a few things when you do.
Bruce says it takes rallying the community and heading over to their website to have your town and arena be considered.
To nominate your town and arena, head over to krafthockeyville.ca before midnight on February 9th, create a community page and tell your town’s story of how important the arena is to the area, how the $250,000 grand prize would be used, and submit pictures and videos showing off the passion for local hockey.
Bruce says the more your community page and arena is shared and engaged with the better, as that improves your town’s score.
The four finalists are announced March 14th.
