A serious car crash in Milton last weekend left several people hospitalized.
On Sunday, January 5th, a 2008 Toyota Camry travelling eastbound on Derry Road struck a westbound 2016 Volkswagen Jetta.
The driver of the Volkswagen and three passengers were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Camry, 24-year old Umair Vakani of Mississauga, was uninjured. He was charged with operation while impaired, operation causing bodily harm (x4) and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
The scene was held for roughly four hours for the at-scene collision investigation and roadway cleanup.
