We spoke with executive director of the Milton District Hospital, Helen Vatistas, as part of our year end interview series.
It’s been two years since the Milton District Hospital opened its expansion and Vatistas says the philosophy that ‘if you build it they will come to you’ has proven to be true for the Milton District Hospital.
Vatistas says in the next year they expect a continued increase in patients and look forward to working with the community in supporting their physicians and health care professionals.
A highlight of hers this year is the continued support the hospital has received from the community
Adding that she feels everyone realizes the importance in updating and replacing equipment in order to deliver the care Miltonians need and deserve.
Vatistas says that it’s heartwarming to know that they have the confidence of the community.
She talks about their withstanding goal of checking items off of their equipment wish list.
Vatistas says a highlight for this year is the continued support they receive from Miltonians in recognizing that their help is what updates and replaces the hospital’s equipment allowing them to provide the best service they can to Miltonians.
She has a message of thanks for Miltonians.
The MDHF continues to work on replacing and updating equipment in order to ensure they continue to provide their physicians and health care professionals with the tools they need to deliver care close to home.
