2020 is fast approaching and myFM is catching up with Milton’s leaders and organizations about the year that was and their goals for the new year!
Public Services Manager for the Milton Public Library, Lee Puddephatt, says their biggest moment this year was the opening of the Sherwood Branch Library on September 30th.
She shares some other highlights.
Puddephatt also mentioned their laptop lending kiosk, which is new to Canada.
Adding they know it works because in the first month the Sherwood Branch was open over 44 per cent of their collection was off the shelves.
She also says their goal for the new year is to continue to implement a community led approach to all their program services and resources.
Puddephatt, has a message for residents.
