The Ontario Government is focusing on improving local healthcare.
Milton MPP Parm Gill was at Georgetown’s Hospital yesterday (Wednesday, December 18th) to make an announcement.
$175 million will be invested this year by the provincial government through the Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund.
Halton Healthcare will receiveĀ $564,369.
MPP Gill says the money will go to good use.
MPP Gill adds that Milton and Georgetown needed this funding.
He says it’s important to provide the best service possible at our local hospitals.
MPP Gill says that while Milton is fortunate to have a newer hospital, Georgetown’s hospital is in need of minor repairs.
However, he’ll still look to help improve Milton District.
The funding is a part of a 10-year plan that will invest $27 billion dollars in Ontario infrastructure projects.
