The topic of a possible Steeles bus came back up the delegations portion of budget talks that took place in council chambers on Monday night.
President and CEO of the Milton Chamber of Commerce, Scott McCammon, re-presented the idea to council as he feels it is the right investment for the future.
Councillor Rick Malboeuf asked McCammon if he knows whether employers would be interested in helping pay for the service.
The Town’s engineering commissioner, Paul Cripps, says once the Town sees development in the Trafalgar are they would be surprised if 10 years from now, they didn’t see a service like this exist.
Councillor Sameera Ali responds.
Mayor Krantz asked McCammon if there’s been discussion with Halton Hills and Mississauga regarding cost sharing.
The hope is that such a service would allow Miltonians to connect with employers at the Toronto Premium Outlets, Mississauga and Brampton.
