The Provincial Government has appointed an advisory panel on climate change
The panel will have experts on climate change resiliency who have experience in a number of sectors including the not-for profit, agriculture and insurance sectors.
MPP Parm Gill says this panel is one of the many steps the province has taken in the past year to protect our natural environment.
The next step in the Made- in-Ontario Environmental plan was announced on Thursday, November 28th.
Minister of Environment, Conservation, and Parks, Jeff Yurek, says the Made-in-Ontario plan is their, “roadmap to providing effective and affordable solutions to address climate change and protect our environment.”
The Province’s Made-in-Ontario plan is expected to continue to grow with new updates and information as they continue to collaborate with stakeholders and other governments.
