There will be some hockey action at the Downtown Milton HolidayFest this weekend.
The Milton Winterhawks are holding a 3-on-3 Ball Hockey Tournament to raise funds for the Townsend Smith Foundation.
The Townsend Smith Foundation’s goal is to bring a hospice to North Halton.
Co-Organizer of the Tournament, Eric Chabot, goes over the details.
Chabot adds that they chose Townsend Smith because they feel that having a hospice in Milton is important.
He says it’s great to have the kids involved with the fundraising.
Chabot says he expects a fun day.
As Chabot mentioned, the Ball Hockey Tournament is on Saturday, December 7th.
It starts at 8:30 a.m. in the Brown Street parking lot, near the old ReStore location.
