A new secondary school is coming to Milton.
The Halton District School Board broke ground recently for the new school.
It will be located near the intersection of Bronte Street South and Britannia Road in Milton.
Regional Councillor for Ward 1, Colin Best, says it’s very important to continue to build schools in the community.
Councillor Best adds that other infrastructure is important.
Best talks to the importance of the Town having a good relationship with the School Board.
The new school is being built for $42.5 million.
It’s expected to be open for the fall of 2021, with roughly 1,200 students.
