Habitat for Humanity Halton-Mississauga have been working to move past three separate break-ins over the last two-and-a-half months.
All three break-ins took place at the charity organization’s Burlington-Apply Line location.
It’s believed the suspects took over $5000 worth of tools.
Director of Communications, Julie Svensson Watt, says the community has been very gracious since the news of the break-ins broke.
Svensson Watt adds that they’ve also received help from the corporate world.
Home Depot Canada has given them some tools and a gift card to help make up for the losses.
Svensson Watt says people can show their support by helping fund affordable housing.
Unfortunately, there hasn’t been an update on the case.
If you have any information regarding the thefts, contact the police.
