#ItCanWaitHalton is a two-week initiative.
It focuses on enhanced enforcement of distracted driving law and education about the risks associated with distracted driving.
New Deputy Chief, Jeff Hill, says that despite constant warnings, distracted driving remains a major issue.
Deputy Chief Hill adds that people need to be aware of the risks of distracted driving.
