
Woodbine Mohawk Park is holding the 36th edition of the Breeder’s Crown this weekend.
This year will be the first time the races are held at Woodbine Mohawk Park since 2008.
Communications Manager with Woodbine Mohawk, Mark McKelvie, says it’s a big time event.
McKelvie adds that this year will also feature the Celebrity Charity Challenge.
Four celebrities have teamed up with charities.
Each will work to garner the most votes with money being given to the awarded charity.
Those celebrities include Pinball Clemons, baseball broadcaster Dan Plesac, hockey broadcaster Ed Olczyk, and the Weather Network’s Kim MacDonald.

The 36th edition of the Breeder’s Crown begins on Friday at 7:00p.m..
It will continue on Saturday at Woodbine Mohawk Park, located on Guelph Line in Campbellville.
