This morning Halton Police responded to an accident in Milton that involved a pedestrian being struck.
The pedestrian has since been transported to hospital with serious injuries.
As a result, Southbound Thompson Road. at Laurier, and Eastbound Laurier from Syer to Thompson has been closed.
Update: Roads have been re-opened both ways.
