The Milton Menace did not play their scheduled Sunday game yesterday.
Prior to the game, the OJHL team became aware of the news that player Zachary Winslow was involved in a serious car accident.
In a statement, President Jason Trufon says, “one of our players was involved in a motor vehicle accident [Saturday] afternoon… we are thankful for the cooperation of our league the OJHL and our colleagues, the Pickering Panthers, for allowing us to reschedule today’s game to a later date.”
He adds that, “Zachary is now home and in good care with his billet family and his immediate family members are now with him as well.”
The Milton Menace have started their inaugural season 2-7-1. Their next scheduled game is on Friday. They take on the Brantford 99ers.
