The Townsend Smith Foundation held their annual general meeting last night.
The charity organization’s goal is to build a hospice in North Halton.
The meeting was held in the Theatre Room at Seasons Retirement Home in Milton.
Director of Development for Townsend Smith, Kate Holmes, talks about wanting to hit their financial goal of $10 million.
Holmes adds that an update on their location is coming soon.
She says it’s going to be an exciting announcement.
Holmes, says they’re planning some events.
National Hospice Day is on October 13th.
Townsend Smith will be doing a flag raising and a candle lit service.
