
Milton’s Green Party candidate for the federal election was part of a meet and greet with residents last week (Thursday, September 12th).
Eleanor Hayward was joined by Guelph MPP and the Green Party Leader of Ontario, Mike Schreiner.
The event was held at Ned Devine’s Irish Pub in Milton to a fairly large turnout.
Hayward was happy to see people of different age demographics attending the event.
Hayward adds that she wants the federal government put a bigger emphasis on the environment.
She believes addressing climate change is the most important thing moving forward.
Hayward talks about what she wants Miltonians to take away after they meet her.
When discussing Hayward, Schreiner gave a glowing endorsement.
The federal election is on October 21st.
