On Monday’s Milton Town Council meeting, council passed a motion that provided the public with an update on the Sherwood Community Centre, and Library.
Within the motion, the final details on the centre will be finished on September 3rd.
Regional Councillor for Ward Three Mike Cluett gave a lot of credit to Town Staff for the completion of the project.
Cluett says that it was important to connect with all departments when it came to building this centre.
He says that Town Council is looking forward to the opening.
To accommodate the start of the ice season, both arenas will open on September 21.
Programming and rentals in the multi-purpose rooms will begin the week of September 27 and the library will open on September 30.
