On Thursday, August 15th the 101.3 myFM Team was All Hands on Deck with their Food Drive benefiting Food4Kids Halton.
The event was held at John’s No Frills and put together in partnership with Gallinger Ford, the Milton Menace OJHL Hockey Team and over 20 other local businesses.
Also on hand were His Worship Mayor Krantz, Regional Councilor Mike Cluett and Ward 1 Town Councilor Kristina Tesser Derksen.
Food4Kids was collecting non-perishable food items including cans of soup,baked beans, Side Kicks side dishes, Uncle Bens rice packets, nut-free granola bars and grocery store gift cards.
While the final numbers haven’t been tabled just yet, if the pictures are any indication it’s clear it was a great day for everyone!
Thanks to all involved and most importantly the No Frills shoppers who donated to the cause and were able to fill two trucks of much needed food for those less fortunate in our community.
