
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a Milton man connected to 3 separate sexual assault cases against young girls in Waterloo.
Each individual case took place between 2013 and 2019.
The first case took place on October 20th 2013, where the accused sexually assaulted a four year old girl in an apartment building on Barrie Street in Waterloo.
The accused sexually assaulted a six year old girl on October 27th, 2017, in an apartment building located on Patricia Avenue in Kitchener.
The third assault took place on July 6th, 2019 where he approached a 4 year old girl playing in the area of Brybeck Crescent in Kitchener.
A DNA analysis confirmed each incident was linked.
The accused is facing several charges including three counts of sexual assault and three counts of sexual interference.
He was arrested in Milton on Thursday August 15th and will appear in Kitchener’s Ontario Court of Justice on Friday August 16th, 2019.
While the Waterloo Police are confident that the individual who committed these acts is in custody, the investigation is still underway and they encourage anyone who knows anything about these assaults to report it to the police.
