Donate non-perishables and help feed local children!
myFM, in partnership with the Milton Menace, are holding a food drive.
All donations will be going towards Food4Kids Halton as we look to fill up the trucks provided by Gallinger Ford.
Executive Director of Food4Kids Halton Gayle Kabbash says food drives are great for helping charities save money.
Kabbash adds that a list of items needed has been provided to anyone interested.
Some of the items that are needed include:
· Soup large cans
· Baked beans
· Side Kicks
· Uncle Ben’s Fast & Fancy rice packets
· Granola bars (nut free)
· Canned pasta (Alphagetti, Zoodles, Chef Boyardee)
· Grocery store gift cards
Kabbash says the school year differs from the summer months.
The food drive will be taking place at John’s No Frills, located on Derry Road in Milton.
It will run from 11:00a.m. – 7:00p.m. on Thursday, August 15th.
